Priming the Pump for 2013 event set for December 5th

The third and last of the 2012 Connections & Solutions series workshops sponsored by LVEDC’s Office of Minority and Women-Owned Businesses will take place December 5th.

Entitled Priming the Pump for 2013, a panel of Lehigh Valley experts will provide attendees with business trends expected to unfold during 2013. Specifically they will delve into the region’s economic forecast, social media outlets, website and video marketing campaigns and the ever-increasing international marketplace.

Economist Kamran Afshar from KAA, Inc., Monika Baraket, from Accelerate Business Resources, Brian Wscilo from 401 Creative and Cora Landis from Lehigh University Small Business Development Center will speak.

After the panel discussion attendees will learn how to create a marketing plan in a segment entitled “Marketing Demystifed” featuring Dr. Denise Ogden, Penn State Association Professor in the Department of Marketing, who is the author of “Marketing Basics: Cutting through the Clutter.”
