State of Northampton County to be Delivered Virtually on April 19

Northampton County Executive Lamont McClure will deliver his annual State of the County address virtually this year.
The speech will be broadcast on Tuesday, April 19, at 11 a.m. on the Facebook page of the Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation (LVEDC). There is no cost to watch the event.

LVEDC is hosting the online event. After its initial broadcast on the organization’s Facebook page, the State of the County address will be available to be viewed on LVEDC’s YouTube channel and website.
McClure will address such topics as the county’s continued response to the COVID-19 pandemic, financial support for small businesses, efforts to combat opioid/fentanyl addiction, open space and farmland preservation, the Gracedale Nursing Home, and more.
The State of Northampton County address is made possible through the support of presenting sponsor Workforce Board Lehigh Valley and gold sponsor Lehigh Valley International Airport.
LVEDC also hosted the State of Lehigh County address by Executive Phillips Armstrong, which was presented on Feb. 17.
The State of the County broadcast was filmed and is being produced by PBS39, Lehigh Valley’s public broadcasting station.
