September 2022 Issue of LVStartup Has Been Released

The September 2022 issue of LVstartup, a monthly e-newsletter about entrepreneurs and startups in the Lehigh Valley, has been released.

This month’s edition highlights stories about 25-time U.S. National Champion cyclist Mandy Marquardt, an expansion by the startup iDEAL Semiconductor, and a team of bar and restaurant veterans opening the Pennsylvania Rye Company in Allentown.
Other stories included Lehigh University’s Master’s in Technical Entrepreneurship program, Lehigh Valley companies appearing on Inc. Magazine’s Top 5,000 Fastest Growing Companies list, and the region once again ranking among the nation’s hottest ZIP codes.
The issue also spotlights upcoming events, including the EUREKA! Venture Program pitch night, a SCORE Lehigh Valley event, LaunchBox Ladies’ first in-person event since the pandemic began, LVEDC Fall Signature Event, the Startup Lehigh Valley Entrepreneur Pitch, and Ben Franklin’s Venture Idol.
Additionally, LVstartup features a Lehigh Valley startup each month. This issue, the company is Terra Health Coaching, a solution for employers, physicians, and individuals who want to minimize the risk of chronic disease and its associated costs while optimizing health and environmental impact.

LVEDC’s Entrepreneurship Council of the Lehigh Valley aims to improve the entrepreneurial environment of the region by listening to its entrepreneurs, identifying their unmet needs, communicating regional entrepreneurship initiatives between council members, and connecting local resources to continue the development of new entrepreneurial support initiatives.
LVstartup receives input from various organizations that serves the local entrepreneurial community, including LVEDC, the Baker Institute for Entrepreneurship, Creativity and Innovation at Lehigh University, Lehigh Valley Tech, the Allentown Economic Development Corporation (AEDC), the Bethlehem Department of Community and Economic Development, Ben Franklin Technology Partners, Penn State Lehigh Valley, and others.
