September 2021 Issue of LVStartup Has Been Released

The September 2021 issue of LVstartup, a monthly e-newsletter about entrepreneurs and startups in the Lehigh Valley, has been released.

This month’s edition highlights stories about Northampton Community College renovating its Hampton Winds restaurant, the Lehigh Valley commanding one of America’s hottest ZIP codes, and Made Possible in Lehigh Valley highlighting IotaComm CEO Terrence DeFranco.
Other stories include the Southside KIZ has been supporting entrepreneurship in Bethlehem, Lehigh Valley ranking among Pennsylvania’s fastest growing regions, and Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Northeastern PA supporting minority and women-owned business enterprises.
The issue also spotlights upcoming events, including LVTech’s monthly meetup event, the Morning Call Virtual Career Fair, Startup Lehigh Valley, and Ben Franklin Technology Partners’ annual Venture Idol event.
Additionally, LVstartup features a Lehigh Valley startup each month. This issue, the company is Celebr8 Life, which focuses on creating highlight reels from customers’ saved content.

LVEDC’s Entrepreneurship Council of the Lehigh Valley aims to improve the entrepreneurial environment of the region by listening to its entrepreneurs, identifying their unmet needs, communicating regional entrepreneurship initiatives between council members, and connecting local resources to continue the development of new entrepreneurial support initiatives.
LVstartup receives input from various organizations that serves the local entrepreneurial community, including LVEDC, the Baker Institute for Entrepreneurship, Creativity and Innovation at Lehigh University, Lehigh Valley Tech, the Allentown Economic Development Corporation (AEDC), the Bethlehem Department of Community and Economic Development, Ben Franklin Technology Partners, Penn State Lehigh Valley, and others.
