September 2020 Issue of LVStartup Has Been Released

The September 2020 issue of LVstartup, a monthly e-newsletter about entrepreneurs and startups in the Lehigh Valley, has been released.

This month’s edition highlights stories about OraSure Technologies launching a new antigen test, LVEDC and Guardian Life Insurance announcing new grants, and Soltech Solutions expanding its Lehigh Valley footprint once again.
Other stories include nearly 300 Lehigh Valley companies receiving COVID-19 assistance, the availability of business incubator space in the region, and the release of the latest Lehigh Valley Commercial & Industrial Real Estate Report.
The issue also spotlights upcoming events, including the second annual Lehigh Valley Internship Summit, LVtech’s monthly meetup, Lehigh University’s EUREKA! pitch competition, and an LVEDC congressional candidate forum.
Additionally, LVstartup features a Lehigh Valley startup each month. This issue, the company is US Specialty Formulations, which manufactures sterile injectable pharmaceuticals used by healthcare providers or in new drug or vaccine clinical trials.

LVEDC’s Entrepreneurship Council of the Lehigh Valley aims to improve the entrepreneurial environment of the region by listening to its entrepreneurs, identifying their unmet needs, communicating regional entrepreneurship initiatives between council members, and connecting local resources to continue the development of new entrepreneurial support initiatives.
LVstartup receives input from various organizations that serves the local entrepreneurial community, including LVEDC, the Baker Institute for Entrepreneurship, Creativity and Innovation at Lehigh University, Lehigh Valley Tech, the Allentown Economic Development Corporation (AEDC), the Bethlehem Department of Community and Economic Development, Ben Franklin Technology Partners, Penn State Lehigh Valley, and others.
