Real Estate and Development Symposium to Discuss Major Projects, Economic Forecast

By Colin McEvoy on February 16, 2015

The Lehigh Valley’s economic forecast and major development projects will be among the topics of discussion at the upcoming Lehigh Valley Business 2015 Real Estate & Development Symposium.

The Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation (LVEDC) is a major sponsor for the event, and Don Cunningham, LVEDC president and CEO, will be among the moderators and speakers at the event, which will be held March 3.

Among the projects expected to be discussed are the waterfront development in Allentown, the FedEx megahub proposal in Allen Township, and the revival of downtown Easton, according to Lehigh Valley Business.

“We are excited to present our second annual Real Estate & Development Symposium,” said Mike O’Rourke, Lehigh Valley Business publisher. “We have a great program put together addressing some of the key topics in the real estate and development market in the Greater Lehigh Valley.”

The event will be held March 3 from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at DeSales University Center in Upper Saucon Township. More than 450 people are expected to attend.

The event will include two panel discussions, including one about major projects in the Lehigh Valley, which will be moderated by Joseph A. Fitzpatrick, Jr., founder of Fitzpatrick Lentz & Bubba. Panelists include Zachary Jaindl, principal of the Waterfront Development Company; Clark Machemer of the Rockefeller Group; and Mark Mulligan, CEO of the VM Development Group.

The second panel, which will be moderated by Cunningham, is entitled “What’s Hot And What’s Not In The Commercial, Industrial, Office And Residential Real Estate Markets in the Greater Lehigh Valley, Berks County and the Warehousing Boom.” Panelists include John Crampsie, principal with NAI Summit; Ryan Conrad, CEO of the Greater Lehigh Valley Realtors; and Jon Scott, president and CEO of the Greater Reading Economic Partnership.
