November 2021 Issue of LVStartup Has Been Released

The November 2021 issue of LVstartup, a monthly e-newsletter about entrepreneurs and startups in the Lehigh Valley, has been released.

This month’s edition highlights stories about the StartUp Lehigh Valley pitch competition, Krista Berardelli’s profile in Made Possible in Lehigh Valley, and the Allentown-based HiJinx Brewing Company marking its 10th anniversary with a “Decade of Debauchery” celebration.
Other stories include a Penn State Lehigh Valley alumnus landing a major cybersecurity position, Lafayette College’s Dyer Center launching a new four-year program for innovators, and the Lehigh Valley ranking high on several recent lists about great places to live, work, or retire.
The issue also spotlights upcoming events, including the pitch event for the EUREKA! Ventures Competition, open houses about the Technical Entrepreneurship master’s degree at Lehigh University, LVTech’s monthly meetup event, and Ben Franklin Technology Partners’ annual Venture Idol event.

LVEDC’s Entrepreneurship Council of the Lehigh Valley aims to improve the entrepreneurial environment of the region by listening to its entrepreneurs, identifying their unmet needs, communicating regional entrepreneurship initiatives between council members, and connecting local resources to continue the development of new entrepreneurial support initiatives.
LVstartup receives input from various organizations that serves the local entrepreneurial community, including LVEDC, the Baker Institute for Entrepreneurship, Creativity and Innovation at Lehigh University, Lehigh Valley Tech, the Allentown Economic Development Corporation (AEDC), the Bethlehem Department of Community and Economic Development, Ben Franklin Technology Partners, Penn State Lehigh Valley, and others.
