New LVstartup Features Lots of Good News for Lehigh Valley Startups

LVstartup is a monthly e-newsletter about the Lehigh Valley entrepreneurial scene.
There’s lots of good news about Lehigh Valley startup companies in the latest edition of LVstartup, a monthly e-newsletter for entrepreneurs and startups in the Lehigh Valley.
ColdEdge Technologies, has celebrated its graduation from an Allentown business incubation program. Soltech Solutions, a manufacturer of LED glow lights, moved to the Lehigh Valley after conducting a comprehensive search. The Bethlehem-based Viihealth, Inc. has announced the acquisition of decision analytics company Hubdata.

Other stories include Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Northeastern Pennsylvania announcing the winners of their Innovation Awards, Bethlehem’s OraSure Technologies receiving a key global health endorsement for its HIV test, and the LVEDC Local Sourcing and Business Diversity Council is spreading the word about its efforts to provide growth opportunities for the region’s small businesses.
The latest LVstartup also spotlights several upcoming events, including The 4 Essential Elements of Marketing for Entrepreneurs, the 2017 Technology Leaders Forum, a familiarization tour at the Lehigh Valley LaunchBox, and the 2017 Ben Franklin iXchange.
Additionally, LVstartup features a Lehigh Valley startup each month. This issue, the company is the HiJinx Brewing Company, which is based out of the Bridgeworks Enterprise Center business incubator in Allentown.

LVEDC’s Entrepreneurship Council of the Lehigh Valley aims to improve the entrepreneurial environment of the region by listening to its entrepreneurs, identifying their unmet needs, communicating regional entrepreneurship initiatives between council members, and connecting local resources to continue the development of new entrepreneurial support initiatives.
LVstartup receives input from various organizations that serves the local entrepreneurial community, including LVEDC, the Baker Institute for Entrepreneurship, Creativity and Innovation at Lehigh University, Lehigh Valley Tech, the Allentown Economic Development Corporation (AEDC), the Bethlehem Department of Community and Economic Development, Ben Franklin Technology Partners, Penn State Lehigh Valley, and others.
