New Lehigh Valley Economic Development Magazine Issue in the Works
By Colin McEvoy on May 28, 2015
After the successful launch of last year’s inaugural edition, a second issue of the popular Lehigh Valley Economic Development magazine is currently in the works.
Advertising space is now available for local businesses, for a limited time, in the next edition of the magazine, which is disseminated nationally and globally to site selectors, economic development professionals, commercial and industrial real estate brokers, and corporate executives looking at new markets.
“This magazine is always one of our most popular items at trade shows and business recruitment forums, and does an excellent job of publicizing the economic assets and success stories of the Lehigh Valley,” said Don Cunningham, Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation President and CEO. “It’s all part of our mission to tell our economic story and increase awareness throughout the United States and abroad of the economic advantages and strength of the Lehigh Valley to attract new companies.”
The magazine is a collaboration between LVEDC and Journal Communications, a nationally-recognized company that produces dozens of similar products for states, regions, chambers of commerce and economic development organizations.
The next issue is expected to be published at the beginning of the fourth quarter this year. At least three issues are expected to be produced in total. Click here to view a digital copy of the previous edition.
The 64-page first issue, released last year, featured stories about the manufacturing, health care, food and beverage, and transportation industries of the Lehigh Valley, as well as articles about the region’s business climate, educational institutions, quality of life, energy, and technology.
The magazine is available for use by any business, organization or government official in the Lehigh Valley involved in recruiting people or companies to the region. It targets a defined audience of potential residents, new businesses and visitors.
“We’ve used this magazine at many of our local events and at every trade show we’ve attended over the past year as a tool to market the Lehigh Valley for companies looking to come here, grow here, and start here,” said Michael Keller, LVEDC director of marketing. “We plan to use the upcoming edition as an even more targeted tool to help attract business to the region.”
Local businesses can advertise in print and online, and will have the option to develop a customer acquisition and retention program. For more information, contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 800-333-8842 ext. 292.
