Morning Call Virtual Career Fair to Connect Employers, Job Seekers
By Colin McEvoy on August 16, 2021
The Morning Call Virtual Career Fair will provide job-seekers two days in which to speak directly with employers online, and 30 days in which to view online job postings.
The virtual event is being sponsored by the Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation (LVEDC) as part of the Made Possible in Lehigh Valley marketing initiative.
Job applicants will have opportunities to speak to employers on Sept. 14 and Sept. 15, and the job postings will be available online through Oct. 14. During that window, job-seekers will be able to browse open positions and apply to them.
Visit here for more information or to register for the event.
“Meet local employers, from the comfort of your home,” reads the The Morning Call event page. “You’ll be able to see what groups are hiring, and what positions are open now.”
The Morning Call Virtual Career Fair aligns with LVEDC’s talent attraction efforts as part of Made Possible in Lehigh Valley campaign, a multi-organizational campaign that highlights the region’s diverse and unique assets that make it a desirable community to visit, work, learn, and live.
Made Possible in Lehigh Valley also seeks to enhance talent attraction and retention efforts for our region’s employers, and increase opportunities for professionals within the regin to connect with others. Visit here to learn more about the initiative.
LVEDC also just completed a digital marketing campaign for Made Possible in Lehigh Valley at Musikfest, presenting our message to more than 500,000 Musikfest visitors. Additional Made Possible advertising is planned for the fall season.
No special equipment or software needed to participate in the Morning Call Virtual Career Fair, just a computer or smart device. During the event, participants will have an initial chat conversation with recruiters, who may then request a video interview with you.
The first day of the event on Sept. 14 will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and the second day on Sept. 15 will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Event exhibitors include ADP, Easton Coach Co., and Versalift East LLC, among others, according to The Morning Call.
