This month’s edition highlights stories about City Center’s Influencer Program, stories about the Lehigh Valley economy in CNN and The Wall Street Journal, and the recently-held “What’s So Cool About Manufacturing?” student video contest.
Other stories include a Made Possible in Lehigh Valley feature about Marjorie Zelon, an Allentown man pursuing his dream to open an auto repair shop, and a new app by a Lehigh Valley company that uses plants to prevent expensive health struggles.
The issue also spotlights upcoming events, including Ben Franklin’s virtual 2021 iXchange, the LVTech monthly meetup, Lehigh Valley LaunchBox’s “Living Sustainably Begins at Home” virtual event, and Penn State Lehigh Valley’s annual Teen Entrepreneur Challenge.
Additionally, LVstartup features a Lehigh Valley startup each month. This issue, the company is OcuTrap, a “smart” animal capture system that can target certain animals, reset and open a cage remotely and alert the user with the image of the animal captured.
