March 2022 Issue of LVStartup Has Been Released

The March 2022 issue of LVstartup, a monthly e-newsletter about entrepreneurs and startups in the Lehigh Valley, has been released.

This month’s edition highlights stories about a Lehigh Valley entrepreneur being recognized as among the next generation of black leaders, the Lehigh Valley’s continued strong hotel demand, and Bethlehem startup UBMe providing real-time restaurant feedback.
Other stories include Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Northeastern Pennsylvania created or retaining 7,356 jobs in 2021, a new dining and entertaining concept in Allentown opening a hiring center, and the Lafayette College students exploring careers through job-shadow programs.
The issue also spotlights upcoming events, including LVEDC’s virtual annual meeting program, LVTech’s monthly meetup, the Baker Institute’s “What to Do With an Idea” event, and the Ben Franklin iXchange!
Additionally, LVstartup features a Lehigh Valley startup each month. This issue, the company is HiJinx Brewing Company, a brewery located at the Bridgeworks Enterprise Center operated by the Allentown Economic Development Corporation.

LVEDC’s Entrepreneurship Council of the Lehigh Valley aims to improve the entrepreneurial environment of the region by listening to its entrepreneurs, identifying their unmet needs, communicating regional entrepreneurship initiatives between council members, and connecting local resources to continue the development of new entrepreneurial support initiatives.
LVstartup receives input from various organizations that serves the local entrepreneurial community, including LVEDC, the Baker Institute for Entrepreneurship, Creativity and Innovation at Lehigh University, Lehigh Valley Tech, the Allentown Economic Development Corporation (AEDC), the Bethlehem Department of Community and Economic Development, Ben Franklin Technology Partners, Penn State Lehigh Valley, and others.
