March 2021 Issue of LVStartup Has Been Released

The March 2021 issue of LVstartup, a monthly e-newsletter about entrepreneurs and startups in the Lehigh Valley, has been released.

This month’s edition highlights stories about a Lehigh Valley entrepreneur becoming a SpaceX astronaut, Lehigh Valley Launchbox’s new virtual business accelerator program, and the Lehigh Valley ranking in the Top 5 regions in the Northeast for economic development.
Other stories include expanding coworking space in the Lehigh Valley, Binah Winery celebrating its first anniversary, Penn State Lehigh Valley’s contributions to THON weekend, and Bridgeworks tenants conducting a snow accumulation contest.
The issue also spotlights upcoming events, including the LVTech monthly meetup, the monthly EUREKA! Pitch Competition, an information session about Lehigh University’s Hatchery program, the LVEDC 2021 Annual Meeting, and a Meet the Experts event sponsored by the Council for Retail and Sales.
Additionally, LVstartup features a Lehigh Valley startup each month. This issue, the company is Rocket Cloud, provides software tools that allow heating, ventilation, and air conditioning wholesalers to transact sales on the web.

LVEDC’s Entrepreneurship Council of the Lehigh Valley aims to improve the entrepreneurial environment of the region by listening to its entrepreneurs, identifying their unmet needs, communicating regional entrepreneurship initiatives between council members, and connecting local resources to continue the development of new entrepreneurial support initiatives.
LVstartup receives input from various organizations that serves the local entrepreneurial community, including LVEDC, the Baker Institute for Entrepreneurship, Creativity and Innovation at Lehigh University, Lehigh Valley Tech, the Allentown Economic Development Corporation (AEDC), the Bethlehem Department of Community and Economic Development, Ben Franklin Technology Partners, Penn State Lehigh Valley, and others.
