Made Possible in Lehigh Valley Highlights Region’s Companies, People, and Stories

By Colin McEvoy on June 22, 2020

The blog of the Made Possible in Lehigh Valley website.

The Made Possible in Lehigh Valley campaign has been hard at work telling the stories of the companies, towns, and people of the region and spreading the word about why Lehigh Valley is a great place to live, work, visit, and learn.

The initiative’s website and newly-launched blog has been highlighting many of the great companies and organization that call the region home, from Martin Guitar to the Factory LLC.

“Lehigh Valley is situated in a wonderful location to be a center of innovation,” Rich Thompson, managing partner of Factory LLC, said in the Made Possible blog post. “We believe that the Lehigh Valley can become the next Austin, Texas or Boulder, Colorado: cities that are currently hotbeds for entrepreneurial start-ups.”

Another recently-published blog post spotlights Emmaus, a quaint town at the base of South Mountain in Lehigh Valley. The borough offers residents rich culture and natural assets with historic sites, public parks, and a walkable and welcoming downtown.

The Made Possible in Lehigh Valley campaign seeks to position the region as a diverse and desirable community to visit, work, learn, and live. It also seeks to enhance talent attraction and retention efforts for our region’s employers, and increase opportunities for professionals within the region to connect with others.

The initiative is an effort by an alliance that includes the Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation (LVEDC), Discover Lehigh Valley, and the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Other stories from the region have been highlighted on the Made Possible in Lehigh Valley Instagram account. Be sure to follow @lvmadepossible for more. Below are a few of those stories:
