It also features stories from the Lehigh Valley startup scene, including two Lehigh University students winning $10,000 for their “smart bracelet,” Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf visiting an Allentown manufacturer, winners from the “What’s So Cool About Manufacturing?” student video contest, and the Colony Meadery winning two medals at the nation’s largest mead competition.
In addition, the issue features various stories of interest to startups, including one from Entrepreneur magazine called “From $0 to Millionaire: How 6 Entrepreneurs Went Broke, Then Became Successful.”
The latest LVstartup also spotlights several upcoming events, including “Manufacturing Momentum in Bethlehem,” the Lehigh Valley Collegiate Business Pitch Summit, a familiarization tour at the Lehigh Valley LaunchBox, and the 2017 Ben Franklin iXchange.
