This June 2 event will feature industry experts discussing important topics to consider when expanding or building a new facility.

The Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation (LVEDC) will be participating in an upcoming event hosted by PNC Bank, in which industry experts will discuss important topics to consider when expanding or building a new facility.

“An Evening with PNC Bank: Facility Planning” will be held on Thursday, June 2, at the event center at Blue Grillhouse in Bethlehem Township, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.. It is free to attend, but pre-registration is required.

The casual and informative gathering will discuss facility development and key elements of planning, design, layout, and finances, with speakers from PNC Bank, Boyle Construction, and Enterprise Systems Partners, as well as LVEDC. The event will begin with a cocktail hour.

Scott Palochik, director of business development at Enterprise Systems Partners, and vice-chair of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce Manufacturing Council, said a lot of companies are taking advantage of financing options to expand their operations or move into new facilities.

“A lot of them have questions as to what are all the steps, how do we really size the facility and everything so we don’t make a mistake, because two years down the road you don’t want to be bursting at the seams again,” Palochik said. “So the value of this seminar is it will really talk about a lot of those key elements you should be looking at at the beginning.”

John Kingsley, LVEDC Vice President of Finance, will be among the speakers at the event, where he will discuss financing options available to manufacturing professionals.

Other expected speakers include Peter Christian from Enterprise Systems Partners, Inc.; Tony Ganguzza of Boyle Construction; and the NEPA Market Senior Executive Leadership Team. Boyle will address such topics as permitting and the pre-construction phrase, Palochik said, while Christian will discuss layout issues and sizing a facility for expansion.

Additional questions about the event can be directed to Palochik, who can reached at 610-762-9094 or spalochik@ent-sys.com; or to Michael Santiago of PNC Bank, who can be reached at 973-723-0263 or michael.santiago@pnc.com.
