LVEDC To Screen Lehigh Valley Video Jan. 29

By LVEDC Staff on January 7, 2014

Billboard_Carousel_Wow03It may not have the glitz and glamor of a star-studded Hollywood premiere, but the January 29 screening of Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation’s high-energy Lehigh Valley promotional video is expected to draw plenty of attention to the Cosmopolitan restaurant in downtown Allentown.

The video project showcases dozens of Lehigh Valley businesses, schools and medical facilities. It also does a fantastic job of highlighting the many recreational activities and scenic wonders this region has to offer.

Sprinkled throughout are facts about Lehigh Valley, its great location, innovative industries and creative workforce.

“The video may be less than three minutes long, but it says a lot about the Valley and its booming economy and business diversity,” said John McGran, LVEDC’s vice president of marketing.

‘We’re pinning down the details but we wanted our partners and investors to know a launch party has been planned for this awesome project.”

McGran says the video that was created by FireRock Productions of Allentown will eventually be made available for area businesses to post and promote on their websites.

‘We’ve already been approached by one organization that wanted to use this video in its recruitment efforts – it is that good,” said McGran.

“We’re working to make Lehigh Valley a household name across the nation. But, in the meantime, this video does a great job painting the region as a great place for businesses to come here, start here and grow here.”

The official invites will be distributed soon, but anyone interested in attending this exciting video launch can contact McGran at [email protected] or (610) 266-7682. The event is scheduled to run from 4 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29 and include cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and networking.
