Northampton County Executive John Brown (left) and Lehigh Executive Tom Muller (right) will present their State of the County addresses.

The Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation (LVEDC) will host the “State of the County” addresses for both Lehigh and Northampton counties this year.

The Lehigh County address, presented by Executive Tom Muller will be held Feb. 26 at Olympus Corporation of the Americas in Center Valley. Northampton County Executive John Brown will hold his address March 25 at the Gates Center at Northampton Community College.

In both cases, admission is free but pre-registration is required. Click here to register for the Lehigh County address, and here to register for the Northampton County address.

Registration will begin at 7 a.m. for both events. A light breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m., and the address will start at 8 a.m.

This will mark the second State of the County address for both executives since their elections in 2013. During his first speech last year, Brown spoke about his desire to create efficiencies in county government, partner with county employees to find savings, and work with Lehigh County to realize further savings.

During Muller’s address last year, he discussed the political climate between his administration and the Lehigh County Board of Commissioners, as well the future of the Cedarbrook Nursing Home, and his plans to connect directly with residents in developing the county budget.

For more information about the upcoming events, contact Michael Keller, LVEDC director of marketing, at 610-266-2217 or mkeller@lehighvalley.org.

The Lehigh County event is made possible by the generous support of our presenting sponsor, Olympus Corporation of the Americas.
