LVEDC to Honor 2014 Award Winners at Annual Investors Meeting

The Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation (LVEDC) is proud to announce the winners of its LVEDC Awards, which recognize companies and individuals who have played a major role in supporting economic development in the Lehigh Valley.
The awards will be presented during the LVEDC 2015 Annual Investors Meeting and Awards ceremony on March 18, which will be held at the Olympus Corporation of the Americas in Upper Saucon Township. Admission is free, but pre-registration is required. Click here to register for the event.
“2014 was an absolutely tremendous year for the Lehigh Valley in terms of economic development, and this is our way of recognizing and thanking some of the major businesses and collaborative partners who have contributed to that success,” said Don Cunningham, LVEDC president and CEO.
The winners are:
LVEDC Partner of the Year: Lafayette Ambassador Bank
New Business Project of the Year: Curtiss-Wright Corporation
International Project of the Year: Fuling Plastic USA
Business Expansion Project of the Year: Hospital Central Services, Inc.
Urban Project of the Year: PPL Center
Entrepreneur of the Year: Katy Worrilow, founder and CEO of Lifeaire Systems
An award will also be bestowed upon an individual recognized as the “LVEDC MVP of the Year.” The recipient will not be revealed until the awards ceremony.
The event will begin with a registration and networking session from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.. The investors meeting and awards ceremony will begin at 5 p.m., and will be followed by networking, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
The accomplishments of each award recipient, as well as their contributions to economic growth in the Lehigh Valley, will be highlighted during the meeting, which will also include a 2014 Year in Review and a look ahead at 2015.
