This article originally appeared in the August 22, 2019 issue of “LV Connections,” a quarterly newsletter LVEDC distributes to municipal officials in the Lehigh Valley.

Over the last two years, the Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation (LVEDC) has been engaged in a permanent and sustained campaign of visitation, connection, and conversation across both counties and all 62 municipalities in the Lehigh Valley.

“From Lynn to Williams, LVEDC is dedicated to being on the road to meet with our public sector partners to understand what their goals, opportunities, and priorities are,” said Andrew Kleiner, LVEDC Director of Community Outreach and Redevelopment.

Now, for the first time, we are now asking those municipalities to help us further define the stories we have been hearing by filling out the first Lehigh Valley Municipal Survey.

This survey should only take 5 minutes and will offer LVEDC unique and concrete insight into the Lehigh Valley municipal ecosystem. The results will only be shared in aggregate and your individual information will not be shared.

LVEDC’s campaign of visitation across the region’s municipalities was one of the advocacy and leadership initiatives of the LVEDC 2017-20 strategic plan.

“In the strategic plan, we vow to continue to engage county and municipal leaders on local development priorities, regional marketing, connections to financing programs, and information-sharing through website connections and enhancements, and communication vehicles,” Kleiner said. “This survey will help us accomplish this very important strategic task.”
