Lehigh University faculty members may be home instead of in the classroom right now, but that isn’t stopping them from sharing their collective knowledge to help the Lehigh Valley business community weather the coronavirus pandemic.
Faculty members from the Lehigh University College of Business have participated in a series of videos, each ranging about 5 to 10 minutes in length and covering topics critical to the community’s understanding of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Our cutting edge faculty research focuses on strategies for new ways of doing business,” said Georgette Chapman Phillips, the Kevin L. and Lisa A. Clayton Dean of the College of Business. “Putting these talks out now is our way of helping companies, and their employees, manage, and even use this difficult time to innovate.”
Nearly a dozen videos have been released so far, all of which can be found here. They cover such topics as financing options, supply chains, employee motivation, unemployment compensation, federal emergency relief legislation, and more.
Many of the videos were recorded by faculty members from a quiet space in their own kitchens, basements, or living rooms.
The series is called “Kitchen Table Talks: Helping You and Your Business Cope During the Pandemic.” A few of the videos can be found below.
