Understanding trends that might impact your business and your marketing plan for 2013
The Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation’s Women and Minority Business Opportunity Council announces its first business workshop in the 2013 Connections and Solutions Series.
Time: 2:45 to 5:30 p.m.
Date: Wednesday, April 17
A panel of area experts will kick off this workshop. Their goal is to help attendees understand what they see as trends for the coming year. The expert panel includes:
Kamran Afshar, KAA, Inc., Lehigh Valley Economist
Monika Baraket, Accelerate Business Resources
Brian Wscilo, 401! Creative, a division of Weidenhammer
Cora Landis, International Trade- LU SBDC
They will provide a glimpse as to what small businesses might anticipate in the areas of: LV business economy, social media, website/video marketing and the ever increasing international marketplace.
The panel presentation will be followed by “Marketing Demystified.” Dr. Denise Ogden, Penn State Associate Professor, Department of Marketing, Author, Marketing Basics: Cutting through the Clutter and President, The Doctors Ogden Group LLC. The workshop is being held at Penn State Lehigh Valley’s campus, 2809 Saucon Valley Road, Center Valley.
