July 2022 Issue of LVStartup Has Been Released

The July 2022 issue of LVstartup, a monthly e-newsletter about entrepreneurs and startups in the Lehigh Valley, has been released.

This month’s edition highlights stories about student projects displayed at the Hatchery’s Demo Day, the Made Possible in Lehigh Valley profile on musician Melody Cruz, and City Centter Allentown’s new live-work residential units.
Other stories included The New York Times publishing a story about Easton, Discover Lehigh Valley launching a new seasonal marketing campaign, and Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Northeastern Pennsylvania expanding its solutions network.
The issue also spotlights upcoming events, including Ben Franklin’s Venture Idol, and the fourth annual Lehigh Valley Internship Summit.
Additionally, LVstartup features a Lehigh Valley startup each month. This issue, the company is Foli-Q, a small black owned business that sells customizable hair care products and offers hair care consultations.

LVEDC’s Entrepreneurship Council of the Lehigh Valley aims to improve the entrepreneurial environment of the region by listening to its entrepreneurs, identifying their unmet needs, communicating regional entrepreneurship initiatives between council members, and connecting local resources to continue the development of new entrepreneurial support initiatives.
LVstartup receives input from various organizations that serves the local entrepreneurial community, including LVEDC, the Baker Institute for Entrepreneurship, Creativity and Innovation at Lehigh University, Lehigh Valley Tech, the Allentown Economic Development Corporation (AEDC), the Bethlehem Department of Community and Economic Development, Ben Franklin Technology Partners, Penn State Lehigh Valley, and others.
