By Colin McEvoy on July 2, 2021
The July 2021 issue of LVstartup, a monthly e-newsletter about entrepreneurs and startups in the Lehigh Valley, has been released.
This month’s edition highlights stories about Made Possible in Lehigh Valley’s feature on the Back Door Bakeshop, LifeAire System’s staggering growth following COVID-19, and OraSure Technologies receiving FDA approval for its COVID-19 test.
Other stories highlight Employer Wednesdays events that connect regional employers and job seekers, the revival of a Turner Street property in Allentown, Mack Trucks’ new electric refuse truck, and a Lafayette College alumna and filmmaker.
The issue also spotlights upcoming events, including the Baker Institute Hatchery’s Demo Day, and the start of the 2021 Teen Entrepreneur Challenge, hosted by Penn State Lehigh Valley and Lehigh Valley LaunchBox.
Additionally, LVstartup features a Lehigh Valley startup each month. This issue, the company is Stuffed Puffs, a confectionery maker of marshmallows with the chocolate already inside, so when you make your s’mores, the chocolate melts while the marshmallow is roasting.
