The Made Possible in Lehigh Valley initiative is all about stories. We want to share the perspectives of the people in our region and let them explain why Lehigh Valley is a special place where you can create a life, a business, or a career, on your terms.

That’s why since the launch of the initiative in March, the Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation (LVEDC) has been sharing the stories of the people of Lehigh Valley and how they’ve been successful in the region.

Many of those stories can be found on the official Made Possible in Lehigh Valley Instagram account.

Using the hashtag #lvmadepossible, this account has been highlighting many of the things that make Lehigh Valley special, from entrepreneurs and startups, to transplants and long-time residents; from schools and students, to entertainment venues and outdoor amenities.

Bruna Mebs was working as a successful costume designer for movies and television shows, but when the job kept her away from home for 10 months of the year, she decided to make a change. Eventually, she settled in Easton, where she runs her own lifestyle brand and works as an illustrator in various mediums ranging from as pen and ink, watercolor, and pencil illustrations. Almas Foods, founded by Ali Almasi, imports and sells saffron, a very rare spice derived from flower prominent in his home country Ali Almasi grew up in Iran and came across the world specifically to join the Technical Entrepreneurship Master’s Program at @LehighU, one of the top entrepreneurship programs in the country.
