December 2022 Issue of LVStartup Has Been Released

The December 2022 issue of LVstartup, a monthly e-newsletter about entrepreneurs and startups in the Lehigh Valley, has been released.

This month’s edition highlights stories about the new Penn State University President visiting the Lehigh Valley, FLX Solutions winning the Ben Franklin Venture Idol, and a Made Possible in Lehigh Valley profile about entrepreneur William Brown.
Other stories included Shift4 Payments moving to a new headquarters in the Lehigh Valley, a podcast interview with Olympic shot-putter Joe Kovacs, Lehigh University’s new entepreneurial partnership, and the Dyer Center’s national recognition.
Additionally, LVstartup features a Lehigh Valley startup each month. This issue, the company is BettorFantasy, a sports betting platform which had been a participant in this year’s Ben Franklin Venture Idol contest.

LVEDC’s Entrepreneurship Council of the Lehigh Valley aims to improve the entrepreneurial environment of the region by listening to its entrepreneurs, identifying their unmet needs, communicating regional entrepreneurship initiatives between council members, and connecting local resources to continue the development of new entrepreneurial support initiatives.
LVstartup receives input from various organizations that serves the local entrepreneurial community, including LVEDC, the Baker Institute for Entrepreneurship, Creativity and Innovation at Lehigh University, Lehigh Valley Tech, the Allentown Economic Development Corporation (AEDC), the Bethlehem Department of Community and Economic Development, Ben Franklin Technology Partners, Penn State Lehigh Valley, and others.
