Corporate Environments, a leading provider of interior furnishings and facility management services, is relocating to a new building in Bethlehem Township, one that will provide better accessibility for the company and a greater ability to serve its Lehigh Valley customers.

The company purchased a new building at 2601 Baglyos Circle and is relocating its office and storage facilities from its previous location on East Broad Street, according to Adam McMahon, Market President at Corporate Environments.

“Corporate Environments is making a long-term investment in the Lehigh Valley and feels this location will help us better serve our customers,” McMahon said. “Thank you to all of our customers who have supported us over the past 30 years and continue to support us for many years to come.”

The new office, located in Lehigh Valley Industrial Park VI, opened this month. It includes 6,500 square-feet of office space and 37,000 of storage space, with higher ceilings than its previous location to allow for higher vertical-racking and more storage.

“We made a significant investment not only in purchasing the building, but in renovating it and bringing it up to our level of standards,” McMahon said, “We believe it will be a good experience for our customers when they come into the building.”

Corporate Environments employs around 35 people in the Lehigh Valley and Scranton area, he said.

McMahon said the COVID-19 crisis has created challenges for the company, particularly with supply chain issues, but there have able been new opportunities for Corporate Environments as companies have considered relocating to the Lehigh Valley from places like New York City and Philadelphia.

Additionally, McMahon said the pandemic has companies rethinking what offices should look like, and Corporate Environments’ new showroom demonstrates types of common space, meeting space, and rooms where people can collaborate both in-person and with screens for people participating remotely.

“Many companies are rethinking what their current office needs look like going onward, so for us I think it creates new opportunities in terms of furniture sales,” McMahon said. “Business are discovering what they had in the past might not be the most efficient model going forward.”

The new facility also includes a more durable floor that allows for the use of heavy moving equipment. The previous building had wooden floors which limited storage capabilities.

The location at LVIP VI provides Corporate Environments with greater access to major highways like Interstate 78 and U.S. Routes 22 and 33, and being located in an industrial park is useful for the company in terms of receiving and transporting products, McMahon said.
