“The strong relationship LVEDC, for example, has with small business owners, and those looking to support new start-up businesses, is invaluable. Understanding the needs of a region and being able to leverage the healthy components of a local economy to lay the foundation for sustainable job growth.”

THE LVEDC INTERVIEW – U.S. Rep. Charlie Dent, Oct. 13, 2013

Charlie Dent was first elected by voters on Nov. 2, 2004 to the United States House of Representatives. He represents Pennsylvania’s reconfigured 15th Congressional District, which now includes all or parts of several counties, including Lehigh and Northampton. The congressman is no stranger to most in the Lehigh Valley. Prior to his service as a congressman, Congressman Dent served eight years in the Pennsylvania House and six years in the Pennsylvania Senate.

LVEDC is pleased to host the congressman in our latest Conversation and Cocktails event where you’ll get chance to look, listen, ask and learn about events that impact the 15th Congressional District, the Lehigh Valley and the nation.

The Conversation and Cocktails series has a simple premise: Give LVEDC investors and partners an opportunity to move beyond the sound bites, clichés and hyperbole. And instead, forge substantive, informative and enlightening dialogue with business and political leaders.

See you there.
