LVEDC Business Retention and Expansion Program

New jobs don’t just materialize from outside the community, but are often created within the Lehigh Valley. That’s why LVEDC invests in the Business Retention and Expansion program.

To truly create economic change and lead the Lehigh Valley to prosperity, our region’s economy must be understood beyond charts and graphs. Often when asked to explain the local economy, some residents may be at a loss to explain the full range of goods, services, labor and general information that comprises our region. LVEDC fills that gap and has the ability to help.

We conduct visitations and interviews with Lehigh Valley businesses to inform them of LVEDC programs that could help their business, and we listen to their needs. The interviews can result in direct technical assistance to businesses that are expanding, in need of capital, management or technical assistance, and workforce development or any business that could be considering leaving the Lehigh Valley. By staying close to our existing business community, LVEDC creates a foundation that better helps them to thrive.
