Commuting in the Lehigh Valley

Highways

  • Main thoroughfares include Route 22, I-78, I-80 and I-476.

Bus Service

  • Greyhound provides direct or connecting service to all parts of the nation.
  • Bieber Tourways and Trans-Bridge Lines offer daily commuter service to various cities, including Philadelphia, New York City and Atlantic City, as well as Newark and JFK airports.
  • Lehigh and Northampton Transit Authority (LANTA) provides public bus service to Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton and their suburbs, serving more than 4 million passengers annually. For more information, contact LANTA at 610-776-7433. Schedules and routes via Google Maps.

Bike Paths

Several projects are currently underway to connect the Lehigh Valley’s already extensive bike path system including a comprehensive plan in Allentown and Bethlehem’s Southside Greenway.

Airports

  • Lehigh Valley International Airport (LVIA) is centrally located and serves thousands of business and leisure travelers each year. LVIA offers:
